Scraps was my first class in level design. Here I was tasked with creating a level that adhered to the core concept of the game. In this level the players main goal was to collect 3 pieces of metal and smelt them together. In the design document I laid out the structure, bread crumbs, affordances and obstacles as well as the level's height map.

After creating the document I started working within the Toy Box to create assets needed within the level and test their functionality. Most of the assets I created were built with Pro Builder from the doors to the crucible however the player character was not created by me but rather by Full Sail.

The Scraps Project taught me many valuable things about level design from how to guide players to vertex snapping, Pro builder, and creating glass.
